Job Description : Upper Elementary

Job Summary/Objective:

Create a positive and creative learning environment that is supportive of each student and professional in all aspects. The use of a variety of teaching methods and techniques will ensure that all students will achieve their full potential in these core classes.

General Responsibilities:

- Teach all core subject areas to students at one upper grade level (Grade 3, 4 or 5) in a self contained, single grade classroom using a variety of media.

- Participate in School Improvement Committees (Curriculum Review, Accreditation, Curriculum Writing, Professional Development, Departmental Meetings) when scheduled.

Qualifications:

The candidate must possess:

- Minimum of an undergraduate degree

The preferred candidate will possess:

- Current state or national certification
